**How long should my warranty be?**

Your own choice for your work, in years. The maker sets the parts.

**What’s the difference between parts and labour?**

Parts are the maker’s promise; labour is yours, to fix your fitting.

**Do I have to give a warranty?**

Some work comes with one by law. Check the rule where you work.

**What voids a warranty?**

Say it plainly: someone else working on it, no service, or misuse.

**Do I register it with the maker?**

Often, yes, soon after fitting. Do it for them and say so.

**Who keeps the warranty?**

Give them a copy and keep one with the job and the home.

Say whether it does. It helps them sell the house.
