How it works

  1. 1 Answer a short interview: who runs the place, what you do, why you started, and something a customer could check for themselves. Skip anything you'd rather not say.
  2. 2 Your About page writes itself as you answer. Each answer becomes a sentence, and a tap on any underlined sentence says it another way, so it ends up sounding like you.
  3. 3 Copy it for your website, then for your Google profile, Instagram bio, Facebook intro and a directory listing, each cut to fit. There are a few lines to say out loud too, in English, French or both.

Free, with no account. Everything happens on this page: nothing you type is sent anywhere, and your answers are kept on this device only if you tick Remember.

Good to know

How long should a Google description be?
Google allows up to 750 characters in a Business Profile description (verify), and shows roughly the first 250 before people tap “More”. So the Google version puts what you are and where you are in that first stretch, and leaves out links, phone numbers and prices, which Google keeps out of descriptions.
Why does it ask for proof?
Almost every About page says “quality”, “passion” and “friendly service”, so readers skip those words. A detail they could check for themselves, like how long the dough rests or where the flour comes from, is what they remember and believe. Pick up to three, and say how.
Should I write “I” or “we”?
Whichever is true. If it's just you, “I” is warmer and more honest than a “we” that hides a one-person business. Pick it once, under Who's behind it, and every sentence keeps to it. The checker below spots texts that switch halfway.
Why are the Instagram and Facebook versions so short?
Instagram allows 150 characters in a bio and Facebook 101 in a Page intro (verify), so those versions keep only what matters most and list anything left out to fit. Your website version is where the whole story goes.
How does the French work?
Everything you tap comes with its French, written for each choice rather than translated word by word, with the spacing French uses before colons. What you type in your own words needs your French, and it's marked until you add it. Ask a French-speaking customer to read it once before it goes up.
Will it say I'm women-owned, Black-owned or local?
Only if you tick it. Nothing about who owns the business is ever guessed from your name or your answers, and you can untick it any time.
Is this written by AI?
No. Every sentence is built from your own answers and a set of hand-written wordings, so it never adds a claim you didn't make. That's also why it works without an internet connection once the page has loaded.
Is anything sent or stored?
No. Your answers and every version stay in this tab, and the checker reads pasted text right here. Remember keeps your answers only in this browser, and you can untick it to forget them.
Is this marketing or legal advice?
Neither. It's a writing aid with plain checks for common gaps. If you make a claim like “organic” or “certified”, make sure it's true and you can back it up (verify any rules for your trade).
