What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your name and picture if you add them, and how you sign in.
- Your business and its books: the customers, jobs, papers, photos, calls and hours you and your team put in.
- Where you're signed in: the browser, its IP address and when it was last used, so you can sign one out.
- What you send us from the Feedback button; it also comes to our inbox as an email.
What we don't keep
- The free tools: what you type stays in your browser, unless you save it to your account or press an AI button.
- Print or Download sends the paper to our server to make the PDF, then it's dropped.
- Messages to your customers go from your own phone or email; we keep a copy only when you mark one sent.
Your customers' details
- They're yours. We keep them for you and use them for nothing else.
- Telling your customers what you keep about them is up to you. Check the rule where you work.
Who helps us run LocoTap
- OVHcloud rents us the server everything is kept on.
- Backblaze keeps our nightly backups, locked before they leave the server.
- Cloudflare carries the site to your browser.
- Resend sends our emails, like your sign-in code.
- Telegram tells us when someone signs up, pays or sends feedback, with the part of their email before the @.
- Google or Apple, only if you sign in with them: they tell us your email.
- Anthropic (Claude) writes an answer only when you press an AI button; it gets what that answer needs.
- Stripe takes payments once paid plans open. Your card goes to Stripe, never to us.
Counting visits
- We count visits with our own Umami, at pulse.locotap.com. It sets no cookie.
- Signed in, a visit carries a number that stands for your account, never your email.
Cookies
- session_id: keeps you signed in.
- _locotap_session: holds the step you're on, like the email waiting for its code.
- theme: light or dark, if you pick one.
- tz: your time zone, so dates read right.
- XSRF-TOKEN: guards forms.
- No ad or tracking cookies.
Yours to take or delete
- Account › Download gives you your account and, if you run the business, its books in one file. Photos come as a list, not the files.
- Account › Delete removes your account. A business only you are in closes with everything in it; one your team is in stays with them.
- Deleted things leave our backups as the backups are replaced; feedback emails stay in our inbox.
Never
- We don't sell your data, rent it out or show you ads.
- We don't use your books to train AI.
Changes
- If this page changes, the date at the top does too. A big change, we email you first.
